Our recent event held at the Tony Press Club wine bar was truly a fun affair. The sfAMA had their own area set apart from the rest of the Club where delicious wines and cheeses were served. There were over 70 marketers in attendance, many of whom were attending their first sfAMA event.

Some of the newcomers to our group included Ryosuke Kojima from U-Can Americas; Leon C.K. Leong of  To the New Digital; Jim Krieg from Syniverse; Chris Rogers, a creative video producer; Liz Polo; Cindy Marshall from Airbnb; and Laurence Nathanson from Imagination Media; just to name a few.

Also in attendance were sfAMA board members such as President Gurcharan Wadhwa, former Chapter President Gene Filipi, Advisory Board member Valerie Camarda, Sponsorship VP Brady Mullin, President-Elect Ken McCormick, and Partnership Manager Andres Grunbaum.

These networking events are a great way to meet new people and learn more about what’s going on at the sfAMA.  Be sure to register for our next event on content marketing, featuring Scott Abel, on Tuesday, October 20th at the Sir Francis Drake Hotel.
