BrightRoll is an independent and unified programmatic video advertising platform that connects digital video advertising buyers and sellers across web, mobile and connected TV. HQ: San Francisco, with offices across the United States, Canada and Europe.

Favorite part of the job?

People.

While I enjoy Marketing theory, strategic thinking and tactical planning, working with smart and skilled people is the best part of my job.

Hiring is a manager’s first responsibility. Removing roadblocks that prevent your team from getting their work done, coaching, developing and building organizational bench strength comes immediately afterward.

Building new, productive working relationships and cementing existing relationships is a pleasure that yields long-term results…personally, professionally and for the entire organization.

What’s the biggest shift you’ve seen in marketing lately?

Content marketing has been around well before John Deere pioneered their customer-facing magazine, “The Furrow,” in 1895. But it’s really exploded and matured over the last decade.

Content marketing is now the center of the marketing ecosystem, with marcom, demand gen, social media and PR all orbiting this emerging function.

OK. Enough of all that. Here what we really want to know:

Why SF AMA?
