The black box nature of Ai is something that must be addressed as it’s adopted by agencies and brands. These two sessions will offer lessons shared by leading UX professionals from international brands and showcase Glimpzit as a next generation agency that has harnessed Ai to deliver their marketing\, content creation and market research services.\nThis not-to-be missed insider’s look at the cutting-edge fusion between artificial intelligence and the marketing industry is perfect for every marketer wanting to understand where this tech is headed.\nFeaturing Guest Speakers:\n\n\n \nSami Kaipa graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Stanford University and earned his MBA from the Wharton School of Business\, University of Pennsylvania. SUMMARY:How to Build Trust in a Digital World
DESCRIPTION:Join us for hosted hor d’oeuvres\, beer & wine as we dive deep into the trust in the digital world.\nTrust is the foundation of a good customer experience and loyal relationship—the holy grail for marketers. Technology creates many possible avenues for building trust and developing that relationship. That happens through the effective collection and use of data. And while we are building huge treasure troves of data\, we are still challenged as marketers by how to best employ that data to build trust.\nOur speakers\, Paolo Parigi and Jessica Santana\, have been researching using a new method of discovering how trust develops online. Specifically\, how interactions and user experience creates\, increases\, or decreases trust and how to discover which is happening and what might be causing it. The methodology is called an online field experiment\, and the implications are are promising for the future of marketing.\nWe may be able to use insights from this type of work to:\n•          More effectively personalize marketing to develop trust at an individual customer level at scale\n•          Create user experiences that increase trust at a measurable pace\n•          Overcome periods of distrust because of product or PR challenges with trust-building campaigns\nWe’re excited about bringing the cutting-edge academic research to this audience here in San Francisco and Silicon Valley—the center of the high tech world where we are only limited by our imaginations on how to use this.\n\nFeaturing Guest Speakers:\n\n Jessica Santana\, Doctoral Candidate of Sociology\, Stanford University\nJessica’s research evaluates the role of networks in innovation. This work is driven by insights from organizational theory\, social psychology\, network science\, and economic sociology. She relies on a variety of methodological approaches\, including experimental\, statistical\, and computational analyses. Jessica has benefited greatly from experience working in the types of organizations she studies\, from Silicon Valley startups to Nicaraguan farming cooperatives.\n\n\nPaolo Parigi\, Lead Trust Scientist at Uber and Adjunct Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Stanford UniversityPaolo Parigi\, Lead Trust Scientist at Uber and Adjunct Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Stanford University. He also serves as Associate Director at the Center for Computational Social Science at IRiSS with a focus on collaborations between academia and industry. SUMMARY:Modern Marketing in the New P2P Collaborative Economy
DESCRIPTION:From AirBnb\, Etsy\, TaskRabbit\, to Lyft\, the sharing economy is on the rise. Your customers are sharing products and services using social media tools –rather than buying them –and that’s a disruption to marketers.\nJeremiah Owyang\, founder of Crowd Companies\, will present the research that demonstrates corporations have to do much more than simply remain relevant\, they have to lead the charge in their own community. He’ll also share three ways corporations must shift their business (and marketing) to adapt to the collaborative economy. \nFind out how companies can activate these technologies to make goods and services available on demand\, reducing waste. Find out how marketers can tap into marketplaces to help them motivate sharing of used goods and products.\nFinally\, find out how top organizations can tap into the crowd into every business function\, reducing costs and increasing innovation.\nIn this lively discussion with Jeremiah\, you’ll learn:\n\nWhat’s causing this sharing movement\nWhich verticals are being impacted the most\nWhat are the driving forces –and opposing forces to sharing\nWhat is the impact to corporations\nWhat companies and marketers must do now to overcome this disruption\n\nWHERE: Sir Francis Drake Hotel 450 Powell Street San Francisco http://www.sirfrancisdrake.com/ \nWHEN: Tuesday\, October 28\, 2014\, 6:00 to 9:00pm COST: $25 members\, $35 non-members \nSPEAKER: \nJeremiah Owyang \nFounder\, Crowd Companies \n	http://www.web-strategist.com/blog/ \n@jowyang\n\nJeremiah is the Founder of Crowd Companies\, which focuses on how large companies tap the collaborative economy\, maker movement\, and customer collaboration.
