SUMMARY:Marketing Strategy Meets Wall Street Conference
DESCRIPTION:Indian School of Business (ISB) is proud to host the next installment of the Marketing Strategy Meets Wall Street Conference from August 11-12\, 2022. \nThe conference “Marketing Strategy Meets Wall Street” is a very successful conference that attracted approximately 200 researchers from all over the world\, beginning with the 2009 conference at Emory University\, Atlanta. Subsequently followed by conferences in Boston University (2011)\, Goethe University Frankfurt (2013)\, Singapore Management University (2015)\, American Marketing Association Conference in San Jose (2017) and INSEAD (2019). The major aim of the upcoming conference is to broaden the participation at the conference by bringing together researchers from marketing\, accounting and finance and start to close the gap between research in these three areas. \nIn recent years\, there has been a renewed emphasis in demonstrating that marketing investments can translate into profitable growth. The challenges in marketing measurement today are not limited to improving marketing mix models\, assessing returns to marketing\, or examining the right metrics\, but creating the right combination of analytics\, research and business case-based findings to guide both effective strategy and implementation. At the same time\, the rise of new channels\, such as the internet and mobile communication\, and the increasing importance of word-of-mouth and sponsorship\, make marketing resource allocation decisions much more complex. This conference aims to bring together scholars and practitioners in marketing\, accounting and finance to address these key problems. \nAre you interested in attending the AMA Summer Academic Conference right after this pre-conference? Register now. \n\nCore Conference Committee\n\nRajendra Srivastava (ISB) – Chair\nSundar Bharadwaj (UGA) – Co-Chair\nMike Hanssens (UCLA)\nDave Reibstein (Wharton)\nAbhishek Borah (INSEAD)\nBernd Skiera (Frankfurt)\nShuba Srinivasan (BU)\nNeeraj Bharadwaj (Tennessee)\n\n\nProgram\n\n\n\n\nDay 1 | August 11 | Morning\n\n\n\n07:30 – 08:30\nName Tags\, Welcome Coffee\n\n\n08:30 – 09:15\nPlenary – Keynote\n\n\n09:15 – 10:00\nPlenary – Keynote\n\n\n10:00 – 10:30\nCoffee Break\n\n\n10:30 – 12:00\nParallel Sessions A\, B\, C (3 Papers/Session = 9 Papers)\n\n\n12:00 – 14 :00\nLunch\n\n\nDay 1 | August 11 | Afternoon\n\n\n\n14:00 – 15:30\nParallel Sessions A\, B\, C (3 Papers/Session = 9 Papers)\n\n\n15:30 – 16:00\nCoffee Break\n\n\n16:00 – 17:30\nParallel Sessions A\, B\, C (3 Papers/Session = 9 Papers)\n\n\nDay 1 | August 11 | Evening\n\n\n\n18:30 – 21:30\nReception and Dinner\n\n\nDay 2 | August 12 | Morning\n\n\n\n08:00 – 08:30\nCoffee\n\n\n08:30 – 10:00\nParallel Sessions A\, B\, C (3 Papers/Session = 9 Papers)\n\n\n10:00 – 10:30\nCoffee Break\n\n\n10:30 – 12:00\nParallel Sessions A\, B\, C (3 Papers/Session = 9 Papers)\n\n\n12:00 – 12:45\nBest Paper Award & Next Conference Venue
